My foundation contractor is really starting to push these things. What are your feelings or experiences. Being “old school” they seem a little short on the mud content. Also wondering how good the built in fastening systems are for attaching interior & exterior finishes. Bear in mind the last 4 homes I worked on all had 12″ poured foundations, yes I know it may be excessive, but that’s my nature. I do like the idea of being able to put in the foundations ourselves, without the expense of owning or renting forms. Getting a little old for that #$%^ any way. Heavy work,did mostly commercial poureds early in my career, and don’t really miss lugging & cleaning forms. Let me know what you think, and who’s systems are better. Thanks.
