Beatrix, You sound like a Canadian….I thought most Canadians went to Florida in the winter! The rest of my relatives have escaped to West Palm for the duration.
I could picture you painting a seascape while enjoying a gentle breeze off of the ocean. I offer this as an alternative to your original plan…..

The instructions on the paint can will probably put your home's interior within the suggested temperature range. Winter humidity isn't usually a problem, though I'd wait the suggested drying time between coats before using the shower if painting in a bathroom.
*Ideal Conditions for Painting1. Kids asleep or at grandma2. Husband at work or on business trip3. Wine chilling in fridgeJust kidding Beatrix, as long as the temp is above 10 Celcius, you can go ahead and paint without worrying. If the recommended drytime is from 4-6 hours, you might want give it the full 6 hours if you feel your humidity is high. Frankly, I think that you may as well just break out your roller and go Girl! We'll be waiting for a progress report.Good luck to you!Linda

I need to paint in order to get over the beginning of the "mid winter blahs".Ideally, what are the perfect conditions in which to do this? There is moisture on the inside of the windows, so I've turned the humidifier off. The temperature inside is 21 C (72F) and outside is -20C (-5F), -42C with the wind chill factor :-(,and snowing wildly.I'm ready to start......or should I wait?
