Hello everyone,
I need some advice regarding how to identify the specific brand and model of the shingles on my roof. I have a leak near a skylight, and I would like to purchase additional shingles before I tear into the problem (which I suspect to be flashing related). How do I know what to purchase? The roof was installed about 4 years ago by the previous owner and I do not have any paperwork containing the information required.
Some background on myself: I run a smallish residential / light commercial remodeling firm in the Dayton Ohio area. We focus primarially on interior remodels (basements, kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins). I have done a fair amount of roofing, so I think that I will be able to resovle my leak provided I can source the correct materials.
Thanks,
Matt

Take a good picture or two and post it on here. Youll get the make model and color in no time.
A picture of the shingles that is.
I'd remove a shingle and replace it with another.
Take that shingle to my local roofing/siding jobber and let them have at it.
Done.
