I think it has been about 2 years since I was on breaktime. I have a lot of catching up to do!
So, what did I miss?

What did you miss?
A major housecleaning of what Taunton viewed as bicker-ers.
A bunch of bit ch ing about said housecleaning.
And of course the destruction of most of the pictures in the picture threads.
Lack of communication with those that run this forum.
A new day has dawned.
And you are here. Glad you could make it. What have you been up to?
I'm not sure how much of a "house cleaning" there was, but when the software was changed to the current carp, response/usability really sucked for several months (still not back to "good", but at least usable), and many people permanently went elsewhere. Traffic is about 10% of what it was previously.
Glad to see ya poke your nose back in Pete. Hope ya stick around.
Thanks Piffin
Thanks. I just registered there as HandyDuffer. Glad to see you again.
I think this is maybe my 10th visit in the new format, just checking in.
It's really a struggle around here to make a living right now.
I'm back too
Been gone since just after the BT quake about a yr ago. Glad to see that I'm still registered, and amazingly remembered my password. During the hiatus, I've poked around BT Classic some. There is some comfort there, but it's different now, not sure how, just is.
Business picked up some in the last 6-8 mos. Not great, it's been tough, but will take it. Spent the last two months doing an interesting job in Concord, NH. Stripped the siding on a 100 yo house, built PVC extension jambs for the windows/doors, added 2" of ridgid foam to the entire shell, blew in high dense cellulose, strapped with 1x3 and resided with a"nice" vinyl (Certainteed Monogram 46). Plus fixed a few mechanical things. Major investment (~$35K, but don't have final numbers yet). It'll take a few years to recoup cost via energy savings, but it's the right thing to do. Starting an addition in a few weeks, hoping the weather holds for another month or so.
Red..still working at Yestermorrow or are they still having their down time as well?
