Hello Folks,
Removed two 110v in-wall heaters from a 1950s house today. They both work and are not too bad looking. The covers (appear to be brushed aluminum?) clean up quite well and have that nice 1950s “diner” shine to them.
Label says Markel or something like that. One is missing the control dial. Each has the galvanized box that fits in the wall between 16″ o.c. studs.
Not sure if they have any value to anyone but if you’re doing some restoration they might be good for you.
Best offer and you pay shipping from Florida and they’re yours.
Mike

Markel is a good name brand, they're still around. http://www.markel-products.com/ Any idea on how many kilowatts they are? I'm not in the market for electric heaters at the moment but it may help those who are.
Stuart,
Hey, thanks for the link! Who knew they were still around?
I'll have to go look at the label to see the wattage as they are at our shop right now. They are adjustable but not fan-forced so probably not too high.
I had thought about mounting them into a portable box and use them in my shop but I am in Florida so they would probably be used only once or twice per year.
