I am a building contractor and have lost a few bids to a competitor who has an program on his home computer and offers design and build packages. I have seen his work and it looks very good and professional. I am not real good on the computer, but if I was to invest in a program to do simple design with floor plans and elevations, that could also do take-offs and cost projections without spending alot of $ (of course),does anyone know of such a thing and have suggestions where to begin.
