I have been remodeling the our kitchen and have decided im going to remove a wall between the kitchen and front room. I went to look at the trusses to figure how i will build the temp support wall to add the LVL beams and ran into this. what is going on here and am I still able to do the beam?

If you really have trusses, as opposed to conventional framing, you can usually remove any interior walls you like. Your pictures don't add much helpful detail so a wider angle shot would help.
