inserting a window in a brick wall
I would like to learn the method of putting a window in a brick wall where there wasn’t one already. I have found out that there are two methods of doing it. #1 sawing out a square for the new window and 2# removing brick methodically and toothing it back. I think a writer good do a pretty good job of making this an article in an upcoming issue.

I remember when I was 10 YO watching a guy convert a brick walled liquor store to a bank branch. He used a 20# sledge and some really good muscles to put a door for the vault door in the back wall. Sure looked secure after it was a bank, but my, was he able to got thru that wall.
The vault door only had a 2" lip, he was that accurate with a sledge. Maybe you can be too?
