Hi
I am looking at replacing the windows in my house (Ontario, Canada)
Having recently moved from England I have noticed that they are installed a little differently
In England, the windows are installed in the brick veneer or straddling the air cavity, in Canada, they seem to be installed flush in the timber frame, giving them a very recessed appearance
Is there any reason why there is a difference and is there an issue why they are not installed in the same way?
Thanks
Mark
