I am attempting to install my own window trim on a new house. What is the easiest way to get the window jam flush with the sheetrock when the sheetrock is out past the jam? I rasped the first one and it made a heck of mess. There has to be an easier way! The majority of my windows are inset around 1/4″ from the sheetrock.
