insulate house with slab on grade and no radiant
I am doing a job in Ottawa ontario canada.looking for some input on how to properly insulate over slab on grade without radiant
thinking of 1 12″ ridgid foam with 5/8″ osb tapconed over, and laminate on that
or drycore with laminate flooring on that
or platon .dimplex. or similar product with with osb over that and laminate
the slab is very hard on the Gentlemans hips as they have been replaced
and I have 3.5″ to play with as the entry door is raised he may be in a wheel chair so I guess the higher the better
any advice would help greatly

I would lay down
6 mil poly on the slab, 2" XPS foam over that with the joints taped, 3/4" T&G ply attached thru the foam, and then 3/4" finish flooring.
insulate slab
I would use 6 mil poly over the old slab, 2" type 2 rigid foam, fasten 3/4" plywood (NO osb), then finish with whatever the HO feels comfortable with
Why would you use ply rather than OSB ??osb now is good for 100 days of rain no swelling
