Finishing a room in a dry basement. Block wall painted w/Durok inside & regular paint outside- all above grade. Think-ing of gluing 1″ polysi boards to block, leaving 1/2″ air space then framing a standard wall with paper-faced fiberglas. Will this work OK? Live in W. North Carolina near Asheville.

yes, i dont see why not.
you may have specific reasons for using the polyiso board but you would essential have the same r value if you frame to accomodate r19 fiberglass. Would be a matter of cost comparison i guess.
