Now is a good time to buy that little spot welding gun that welds the barbs to the sheet metal, or at least rent one. Don’t use the peel and stick type barbs. The adhesive will fail within a few years. You don’t need as many attachment points with rigid insulation as you do with blanket, so the spot welder should really let you fly through this one.
