Every year at the first cold snap I vow to put insulation under our pier and beam to keep the hardwood floors from being so danged cold. Well, that cold snap is here! Is regular paper-backed FG insulation the best method or is there another product that is easier to install or performs better? I’ve seen foil-backed bubble wrap at HD but don’t know much about it. If I use FG batts, which side faces where? Will this help any in the summer? I am in the Dallas area. So many questions, so little time. Thanks to all who reply!
