I have a 1-1/2 story timber frame barn. The floor joists for the 2nd floor are 40″ on center with 9/4 x6″ tongue and groove southern yellow pine flooring. I want to insulate the 1st floor and turn it into a woodshop. The sidewalls are easy as there is conventional 16″ on-center studding between the timber posts. Anybody have some recommendations for insulating the ceiling of the 1st floor? Thanks, jekbear
