Hi all, I am shopping for insurance and got a $1200 quote for $1M liability and $7000 on my tools (truck separate). This would be for MA and RI and I am a sole prop. Is this a decent rate? It’s thru a broker so I am not sure of the company. Any input would be appreciated.
thanks

Doesn't sound bad!
I think thats good as our was always at least $3-5k for just the liability.
That sounds reasonable for your area. I pay a little less in S. NH. for similar coverages but my policy specifically excludes roofing or spray painting. By the way, your broker should be willing to tell you who the insurance company is. My broker is quite upfront about it.
Thanks. Glad to know the price is in the ballpark. This one also excludes roofing and gives me 90/10 on indoor/outdoor work. I'm happy with the broker, they handle my other insurance, so she may have even said it. She was on speaker and I had earplugs in....
thanks again

PS: I thought all Henry's Fords were black.....
Sounds about right
