I am converting a built in cabinet into an open bookcase. The room has 12 foot ceilings, and the customer would like to have a ladder system installed to reach the top. They are looking for something similar to those seen in a library where the top of the ladder is attached to a track, and the bottom has castors.
I have looked at some of the back issues of FHB, but have been unsuccessful in finding an advertiser who makes them. Anyone out there know of a manufacturer who does? If it helps, I live in southeastern PA.

see freds reply.
putnam ladder is a good one. nice system and a very nicely built ladder, but if you have to turn a corner a swivel type caster ( which putnam doesn't have) is desirable. just be sure your specs and measurements are in line with the manufacturers requirements for same when you do order the system..
*Thanks for the info guys. It's greatly appreciated!Greg
