First time posting in here, usually over in knots. Any help is greatly appreciated. There’s a client who wants her bathtub surround covered in redwood. What would you suggest for the finish? I’m thinking that a film finish would be too slick for the bathtub area. What would be the best way to seal and finish this?

I'd suggest at least considering Sikkens exterior stain. It's a semi-transparent stain that shows up the grain of redwood quite well, and will obviously stand up to moisture in a bath better than interior finishes.
