Has anyone had experience with interior storm windows through Allied Windows, Inc? I have 100+ year old windows that are part of a historic property and can only be restored. They existing windows are single pane and offer little energy or noise reduction, which should improve with the storm window. I am considering the Allied MOLOP (magnetic one lite operator) with 1/8” annealed glass. The windows are large (60×90). Any advice or feedback is greatly appreciated.

With little energy or noise reduction, what's the point?
The single pane windows I have over little reduction. The storm windows would greatly improve efficiency and sound reduction.
Sorry, I misread.
Looks like a great improvement. Have to closely check the dimensions. (and flatness of the sill)
Probably loose the shade, (or replace with a surface mount that is larger)
and then the only question is if you want one of the standard colors, or a custom one.
Thanks. I hope so. I’m having the original ones restored but have to keep current single pane, so hoping the storm insert will help. I am debating upgrading to have the storm window trim match the original window sill trim too, so that it blends. I agree that I may need new shades too. Not exactly sure what I would choose there.
