Introducing myself

| Posted in General Discussion on October 28, 2003 10:28am

I would like to introduce myself. I am a long time read of Fine Homebuilding. I just happened to stumble upon this forum.  I have tried to post a few questions today, unfortunately, they don’t seem to be posting.

I look forward to gaining much information from all of you here.

Thanks,
Barney

    Barney, welcome

Until the forum sponsors get a feel for who you are and what your aims are, it'll take a bit for your messages to get posted.

Just wanted to add a "welcome" also.

The board is a bit quirky, as are some of it's trgulars. But it's full of life.

No, the world isn't about to end. However, if I'm wrong, I'll apologize afterwards.

When I was a youngster the old man had about 6 roosters that would perch in the tree outside my window. At 2 a.m they would all fire up.

After a few months of begging for him to do something about them, my mother finally gave me permission. The shooting iron came out and I got even.

            Blissful silence returned.

11.23 p.m here, Wednesday. If my calculations are right, it's Tuesday there.

So, today will be a pretty nice day for you folks, pretty warm, a tad humid, sun will pop out later and things will heat up. Little wind. good day for pouring concrete.

Can let ya know what Thursady will be like later if ya like. <G>

Must get some sleep, cant work if I cant see much. No roosters either, thanks to all the Gods.

            Be silent. :)
