Any one reccomend some products, I am going to be doing 3 decks, all of which are IPE. From what I have read it is a bad idea to presure wash IPE, is that true? Is there any readily avaiable products, I have read into Messmer but is far away. Should I do anything for scratches in IPE?
IMO, pressure washing any wood is a bad idea. There are several percolate deck wash products available. Flood has one.Penofin has the oil finish

I have tried this, it works! (Not on IPE, but I would not think it would hurt)
Best deck wash: (1) gallon of bleach (1) big squirt of Dawn dish washing soap. Mix with water in a five gallon bucket. Mop on the mix. Let set for 15 minutes or so, rinse with a strong force of water (not a pressure washer).
bleach is not a good idea on this wood
Please look in the archives I did a huge long post on cleaning/refinishing our Ipe deck with the penofin products.
