Am I the only one to notice something odd in all the photos?
There is no one in them! If I took a collection of online photos say of Egypt with no one in them and said here's photo's of my trip, did I go?
Just a curious thought not meant to really bug on you but where are the here's Waldo in the cool countryside?
Oh here's a shot on my trip yesterday to the Mayan ruins, thats me at the top waving.8)

Nice pictures. Did you get to Dingle, on the coast? I've never been but my son has gone the last 2 summers. First, as an art student studying landscape painting, then again this year as an assistant to his former
Professor, for more painting. They basically spent a couple months painting and sketching the countryside and locals. He loved it, and brought back a couple thousand photos plus his work. I'm still looking at the photos.
I guess Dingle is a small coastal town of maybe a couple thousand people, but they have over 50 pubs. Great scenery and very nice people according to him. I hope to go someday.
dingle is great..... it is the northern limit of the area that has a mini-climate from the Gulf StreamMike Hussein Smith Rhode Island : Design / Build / Repair / Restore
i cant remember if we went through there or not, would have to look at a map... went through so many little towns... one thing i will say, they really need to improve the signage ... really hard to drive and read signs, if you can find them, at the same time... and who builds rock walls right next to the road??? someone has lots of time on their hands... :) but it was very scenic indeed...FrankWe were the winners, cause we didnt know we could fail....

Beautiful! Friends of ours just returned from Ireland. They are both 80 and had a great time! Looks like you did, too.
AWESOME! We loved Ireland when we went. Spent two weeks there and the wife came back with a bunch of Waterford and all these damn knitted sweaters. I came back 10lbs heavier from alot of Guiness! ;)
Glad you had a good time!
we didnt really go to the south much, mostly west and north... didnt really care for belfast or dublin.... would have like to have seen more ...

I see you hit Bunratty - most thumbnails are still loading for me.The thing that impressed me in the south was the subtropical vegetation.

yes bunratty was the first thing we hit, after landing in shannon. yes they have lots of green... vines everywhere... lots of cows... sheep... rock walls... miles and miles and miles... very very scenic. Dromoland was pretty cool too. what surpised me was that the castle is big, the rooms really are pretty small inside.. maybe one big room and several smaller rooms... the lucky ones got to live in there i guess... the rest got stuck outside....FrankWe were the winners, cause we didnt know we could fail....

Thanks! It was fun looking and remembering my own visit long ago, before the Celtic Tiger cost so much to feed. Why don't you buy the house with the "For Sale" sign and host a fest there????
