I am building a room with a catherdral ceiling and I would like to connect the oposing walls with an iron rod and turnbuckle system. Any ideas where I might locate these items? thanks

Any lumber yard should have threaded rod and or steel turnbuckles,you will need a welder to join the rod to smooth round steel rod for the tie-rod/collar ties themselves. The same welder should be able to fabricate brackets as well.
