Hello!

Re-siding garage to bedroom exterior front wall to discover 3″ high subfloor on 2×4 joists, 16″ O.C.

Never been vented. Blocked on all surrounding walls.

Can I continue to block the subfloor openings or do I need to add vents to new siding for a little bit of air flow under each subfloor cavity?

Garage/room blocked off from attached house’s crawlspace so there is no place for additional vents for cross-air flow.

40 year old house, Southern California climate.
