I found a couple of other threads in other forums asking the same question.
And one who sent one back and never got a replacement.
I did find this article about a new router company started by the son of the founder of Jesada.

I beleive the owner has opened Infinity cutting tools.I don't know what happened to Jesada or who took the reins , but my Dad liked the bits he bought from the new company recently.

So are the Infinity bits any good? Or have you even heard? Jesada was/is a good bit, used to have some, now some pos thief does.

Carlos was the imported router bits, mostly from CMT (Italy?) and other tools from other companies and sold them under the CMT brand.
He decided to start making his own bit and kept using the CMT brand. CMT sued and he lost and renamed his buisness Jesada.
Then a couple of years ago he sold the whole business.
They last year his son, Davaid (the DA in jesada) started Infinity.
BTW sometimes after Carlos renamed the company I bought a Jesada dado set from Hartville. It came in a Jesada box, but the blades where marked CMT. IIRC the saw blades where not made by CMT, but by another company. And this was old stock that was in the pipeline.
wasn't there an Israeli mnfg. in that mix up too? More an more is coming back to me..( I been cloudy for a few days now..a cold that borders on pneumonia)

There might have been. I am not sure if CMT was Italian or not.
And it might have been the saw blades that came from Israeli.
Yep... CMT was/is Italian... I tried a couple Jesada bits and was not impressed. I still like Whiteside bits the best. For cheaper bits that I never use much I buy from Woodside... the outfit in Arizona or from Grizzly. Whiteside bits are just incredible though... Check out the test Fine Woodworking did a while back... they agree. --- BRICK

Yup, buy Whiteside. NC needs the business!
http://www.whitesiderouterbits.com/ Don't worry, we can fix that later!
The whole sordid thing goes on and on like a soap opera. Years ago when CMT and Jeada broke up into separate lawsuit partners, i decided to wait 'till the sdust settled before buyuing from either again.
maybe in another ten years....

Yup......they (Jesada, I think, but it was a long time ago, might have been CMT) screwed me over....took an order for some bits I needed right away.....and they never came. So I called, and they said, "Oh, we moved the next day, so everything was closed down for a while."
Nasty letter to president, and a vow to never, ever buy any of their stuff again. And I haven't. They're all punks, and you can get better stuff cheaper elsewhere anyway.cabinetmaker/college woodworking instructor. Cape Breton, N.S
CMT is still a legit company. Italian. Jesada, in Florida, was using the CMT name and orange color. CMT sued and won, and Jesada ensued with a white coating and new name.
I use some CMT saw blades and they last. Good stuff. Don't worry, we can fix that later!
Amana is an Israeli mnfg. sort of wierd, Amana is a German word.
ok that's the one I was thinkin of..I've used thier bits..good for the cost. I recently got a stile and rail set for exterior doors..from Whiteside..decent too.
