Is the material shown in the photos suitable for exterior use?
It is installed in the ceiling above the parking area (aka slab) and beneath the heated areas of the home. The home is at the beach on pilings. It is installed in a covered area, but is still subject to significant moisture.
My builder is installing this stuff and is not answering my questions, which is why I am reaching out here. I don’t want to direct a work stoppage, but I also don’t want to have to replace rotten drywall shortly after the 1-year builder’s warranty expires.
