I have a Bosch breaker hammer that has started leaking oil down the bit as I was busting some concrete. Slow leak at first but getting faster.
Does this mean a seal has broken? The hammer is still under warrantee. It’s also still working. Do I need to take it in for service or not unless it stops.
I don’t see a grease fitting to add more.

Is this the Brute 66# electric jackhammer?
If so, a small amt of grease seep down the bit is normal. Also you should shove a dab of grease in on the but of the bit when inserting it. That helps prevent some excessive wear from heat at the hammer. That grease will also melt and run down.
They recommend a factory rebuild every 250-270 hours IIRC. mine has been in twice and is probably due.
Should not use when too cold. That can break a seal. I keep it in a warm place night before, or keep a heat bulb on it for an hour first before beginning AM use. This is because it is very heavy grease they pack it with.
The brushes are self-eject. in other words, if it just plain quits working, that means that you have exceeded number of hours useage as determined by the brush wear. Time to send for re-build.
