Homeowner here, installed my first jamsill in a rush this weekend. Whenever I set the corners, I realized the sheathing sticks out past the concrete foundation edge.
What that gave me was a sill pan that looked like crap. It wasn’t flush with edge of the concrete foundation.
Can I just stick the sill pan between the sole plate and sheathing at the corners? Not sure how else to fix it. Getting the sheathing over the foundation ain’t happening. The sole plate is bolted to the foundation

Pictures please.
This is the only picture I got.
You can see the corner of the sill pan stick out under the flashing. And what ends up happening is now the lower right hand corner of the pan has a gap under, about a 1/2inch.
I had to throw all this together in about 5 minutes and this was the first time I have ever used both it all went well till i set that jamsill in and realized the OSB sheathing under the vapor barrier sticks out past the edge of the foundation.
I guess another way of explaining it is that the house was framed with the 2x4 butted up to the edge of the slab, so then when you nail the OSB to the studs, the OSB extends past the slab by that amount.
And as you can see, there is no decking under the lower lip of that sill pan so, so the corner of the sill pan is butted against a vertical surface that extends out a 1/2" past where the edge of the concrete is at behind that lower leg of the pan.
Any way to remedy this would be great. I was really set on using these pans, but its causing me more grief than I like.
Spoke with manufacture. Going to shim under the lower leg of the pan. I am going to talk with my masonry guy and see if we can add some brick along the bottom. I really didnt want to shim it out because I think it would grab peoples feet under the right conditions.
Sounds like a good solution. Good luck!
