I apologize for posting this here but you’ve made the “improving breaktime
i read only”
I really enjoy this forum, and think you guys in charge do a great job of keeping it organized and yet letting the info flow. A couple of weeks ago you solicited our imput and I beleive you’re genuinely concerned with creating the best product possible. So here’s my idea. I’m really curious about statistics. I’ve seen other boards that break down # of members, # of post on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, and what post get the most hits. This outline would help define the weakness and strength of our discussion group. I feel if we’re going to be the best homebuilding board we need the most diversity and we need to bring in people from the obscure fields and garner knowledge from them. Knowing where our weakness’s lie could help us all.
Along these same lines creating links to potentially helpful construction related topics would be highly appreciated. Maybe have members of this board critic other sites and make a list which could be constantly evaluated.
Happy Holiday keep up the good work.

Great Ideas Terry.
Weaknesses? That's easy. Check out the tavern and just listen to any of the liberals in there....

*I third your idea. On AT LEAST two recent occasions, one on metal fencing/railing and the other on cutting crown for cathedral ceilings, the links provided were superb. For a commercial supplier to be linked to a search engine (for example, Yahoo) costs $. There are many quality suppliers that, for a variety of reasons, choose not to be linked to every search engine. To catagorize the links as you suggest would be a worthwhile endeavor.
