One of my local suppliers is a distributor for a line of cabinets I’m not familar with called Kabinart, which is based in Nashville, TN. The small display at the supplier isn’t large enough to really evaluate, and the company’s website is not very helpful either. Maybe this should be a clue, but sometime you find good products in obscure places. I’ve usually either built the homeowners cabinets, had a local shop do it or ordered Kraftmaids from one of the big boxes. The Kabinart flyer boasts plywood boxes as standard, dovetailed drawers, and a few other features that are “upgrades” on most mudular cabs. Anyone out there have any experience or heard any rumors about Kabinart? Thanks.

If you can't evaluate them, why even consider using them? Are they a lot less expensive than the alternatives? That's probably a clue as well. If the distributor can't give you the name of a satisfied customer, either builder or HO, who will let you come look at them, that's another clue.
