My wife and I are seriously considering putting Karndean vinyl flooring throughout our new house. They claim that the product is also used by Walmart in some places, and we really like the way it looks.
Has anybody had any experience with it?

I looked at the site, but did not see any information on the construction of the tile. What makes it different?

My wife and I first ran across the product at a home show about 2 years ago and we were quite impressed with it at the time. Every time we see it, we like it even more. It seems to be the right answer for our life style with large dogs, and their new hand crafted wood look appeals to us.
We have heard claims that most people seeing it in a house will think that they are looking at a real wood floor. And, we have some reason to believe those claims. But I have not found any unbiased reports for good or bad.
The stuff is not cheap, but we have some relatives in the wholesale flooring market that we should be able to through at an almost reasonable price.
As to what makes it different, all I know is that it looks better than any other vinyl product and better than a lot of real hard wood floors I have seen.
I would be much happier buying 2,200 sq. ft. of the stuff after hearing from somebody that already has it in their house and isn't trying to sell the stuff to me.
