I remodeled the kitchen and bath in my daughter’s condo last year and kept all the kitchen appliances to sell because they were in almost excellent condition . Thought maybe someone might want to retro a kitchen or need a replacement piece . It’s all 1974 Harvest Gold including ; countertops , 42 ” , 24.5 “, 134.5 ” w/ matching sink & newer moen faucet/sprayer in center, refrigerator , elec. stove , ex. hood , dishwasher , and washer and dryer that fit under a standard 34.5 ” countertop . She used it all for a year before I took it out . NO cabinets.
Will sell for $ 500 . You arrange pickup . I’m in SW sub. of Chicago

OK , so nobody wants this " stuff " , so does anyone know where I could donate it to for a little ' deduction ' ? ... or anyplace in Chicago that would take it ?
I Seriously need to get it out of my way !
Thanks for any info .
1974 Harvest Gold?
I got rid of my vintage GE harvest gold set 2 years ago. Put them out on the curb for collection, of course with the doors removed. Before the city had a chance to come around some guy with a truck picked them up.
When we removed the doors one of the hinges came loose and we didn't have any idea where it went so this guys left us his number so we could call him in case we found it. Two weeks later after we hauled the old cab to the dump, we found the hinge under where the torn out cab were. I would have to say that this guy had faith, he came pick it up that evening.
Just a personal story re: used appliances.
I'll let you know when I get rid of the Sub Zero.
around here we have a catholic charity called harbor house, the help abused women find new housing. they always need refrigs, dryer washers that type of deal. you surley have something simialar. larry
Well , I've 'spent' enough time calling around to find charities that might have a use for this stuff . You would think Catholic charities or Habitat for Humanity would at least know who would need it , Not ! It's just a shame to trash stuff this 'clean' . So , I guess it's to the curb it goes cuz it's in my way and I really have to finish my house !
Thanks for the ' suggestions' guys ,
jeff

Craig Mackay is the name I have but that is a couple of years old.
I donated a bunch of doors to them and they were happy to get them.
They Use it for low income housing.
Thanks for the info . I'll keep it in the card file for future reference ... just in case . But next time I'll think a little harder about hanging on to good Old stuff !
