In one of the fall Fine Homebuilding magazines I saw a kitchen counter stool. It had a round red back and a black seat with a black wrought iron frame. It also appeared in the Tauton Press book “Kitchens for the Rest of Us,” with a round natural wood finish back and green seat on page 110 (Mid Century Chic). Does anyone know the name of the manufacturer. I have scoured the internet with little success and back issues are sold out. So if you could look in yours I would appreciate it. Immy

Prescriptive codes don't address the connection at less common angles, so base the connection off more typical ones using bolts, structural screws, blocking, and steel tension ties.
