In one of the fall Fine Homebuilding magazines I saw a kitchen counter stool. It had a round red back and a black seat with a black wrought iron frame. It also appeared in the Tauton Press book “Kitchens for the Rest of Us,” with a round natural wood finish back and green seat on page 110 (Mid Century Chic). Does anyone know the name of the manufacturer. I have scoured the internet with little success and back issues are sold out. So if you could look in yours I would appreciate it. Immy

Try asking at Breaktime, which is really the Fine Homebuilding site and has more traffic than this site. Go to the top of this page in the green box and click on "Breaktime" right after "Other Taunton Sites:" Someone there should be able to help you. I don't know whether you contact Taunton directly or the SYSOP on the Breaktime site they would help you.
Do you remember which issue it was in? I might be able to track it down.
No unfortunately. I was in Hawaii at the time and did want to lug too much. Plus I thought I would be able to get the magazine when I got home. It was sold out by then and of course that is when I determined that was the perfect kitchen stool.
I for got to add I scanned the picture in from the other kitchen book I had. In the article I saw they were red seats with black backs. Thank you.
