We’re redoing the kitchen and one of the changes will be the sink. We will probably put in granite counters, though that isn’t assured. Does anyone have a preference: drop in sink? under the counter sink? farm sink? stainless? enamel?
Plusses? Minuses? I’m all ears! (Our present sink is 2-compartment drop-in white enamel.)

I like an undermount sink because it's cleaner--no rim to catch crud, plus I just like the looks of the counter going right to the sink uninterupted.
That's sort of what I was thinking. My DH is concerned moisture from spray will be trapped between the sink and counter, but wouldn't sealing it take care of that?
I would think so--haven't heard of any problems. Water could as easily get trapped under the rim of an over-mount sink, except for putty or caulk there too.
