Being done somewhere in NH by a design-build firm called Nold. I thought it was cool.
Here is the conceptual.
And the execution. Try pricing this frame-up on a per square foot basis!View Image

Very cool!
That would fit in well with the "Hobbit House" thread....

Seriously, that is some nice stone work. Good 3D rendering too. Please post some more.
...that's not a mistake, it's rustic
As I said, Jeff, I clipped the pics from a design/build website called noldesign.com.
Check it out there for some great pics. In their "portfolio" section, you can see how they must have gone from doing hand drawings to the 3D system they use now.
You'll also see some pics of whole house models done for most all of the projects, detailed out with little people and furniture, all at a scale of about one inch to the foot.
These guys design them, fabricate them, and build them. A lot of large logs and timbers are used, and their shop is sized to handle and do all the big stuff.
That is way kewl looking. Do you have any pics that show the whole structure?
This may sound strange, but that large chimney and stone cap reminds me of the building architecture in the old movie "Planet of the Apes".
