Has anybody taken the courses that are starting to be given? I understand that eventually if you remodel and potentially deal with lead paints you have to take the training.

This comes up periodically. I bet an advanced search for "EPA lead" would give you some threads.

John if you want more info, I am a member of a forum where we has 3 members in the last week go through it.
John, the deadline is April 2010 for contractors to be certified to renovate pre-1978 homes. There are specific things that trigger when the rule must be followed. If you go to National Home Builders Association website they have some good information along with a some deadlines.
I am not John. He also whoever he is, go straight to the EPA site, they have some very good info!
Hello Frammer
Actually, I am aware of the web site. I was more interested in whether the news was getting out
I was also wondering if anybody had taken the training, and if so, what was their experience.
Like I said in a previous post, I am a member of a web site where there are at least 2 members that have taken a course and are talking about it in the forum. Remodelcrazy.com
