In effort to help people who have written asking us to send out one of our guys–I come to the place that I know the Best in the Biz hang out in.
These are free leads–I’m only giving each lead to 1 person–first come first serve. Tell me about what you normally do and send a photo if you have one…(just to show you know what you are doing)… tell me which job you are close to and it is yours.
Don’t want a cut–or anything from it–just your good will.

Well that's mighty generous...you have too much going on right now to pursue them yourself I assume?
Justin Fink - FHB Editorial
Hi Justin-- That's what comes in emails-- 1 in 10 will bother to email--most call. We don't harvest those--with only 2 lines we can't squeeze that in right now. We just tell them we don't have anyone in their neighbourhood.
Towards spring there's more. What's your opinion Justin. Last year I didn't post very many--thought it might come off as boastful. Some months there are 30-50 leads we don't have people to service...
The way I figure it, I and my associates can't do it all everywhere--we all want to stay local, it's more profitable.
Carpenters that bother to read about new techniques are normally more skilled and altruistic about their work--so--who better than them to do the work?
I like to think of my biz as benevolant--so thanks for the kind words Justin. Unfortunately I don't do any of the work anymore(only 2 or 3 jobs a year)--just design, training and corporate sales.

That would be cool--of course I'd have to drop in and check out the job... ;o) I'm just up the road.

I'll be "just up the road" if not in the next coupla weeks ... then the next coupla short months. Have to make good on a promise to visit a buddy in TO ...
let him finally meet my boy that's named after him.
it's been years and years since I've been in TO ... used to make it every 6 weeks or so for a long weekend. Can't wait. Thinking it'll be a little different this time ...
used to travel up with a heavy metal band ...
now ... will be with a wife and a 4 year old.
Bet I get across the border quicker! (no pulling over for a whole car search, again!)

Spread 'em, hippie!
Ha ha ha--- that happened to me going the other way too, I was 17.
This really smart kid that was with us decided it would be a really great idea to let off a couple of cheech and chong lines at the border....
"Have any narcotics or illegal substances in the car boys?"--
Bob " Not anymore!"...
Yep, More than enough cavety searching to go around!
Jeff--that'd be really great. Just let me know a few days ahead and I'll clear the schedule for lunch--dinner--whatever. I have a 3 year old too--who really enjoys friends his own age. Should take them to this medeival dinner theater where they can eat with their hands and watch jousting.

my buddies from TO ...
drove down to NY for a hockey game ... drunk ... driving back.
most sober guy at the wheel ... most drunk ... Lenny... in the back.
So they ask the list ... get to "any weapons" ...
and as the story goes ...
Lenny decides to wake up and offer ...
"nothing but the uzi's in the trunk ....."
they got pulled over ... whole car torn apart ... and Lenny got the "special search" ...
then ... even though he was a Canadien citizen ... they had to hold him as they checked for warrents ... for 3 days!
Guess he called as soon as he was released ... clear.
and no one would drive back down to pick his dumb a$$ up.
had to have his girlfriend wire enough money to get a bus ride home!
man ... I miss those guys!
and all this was way before 9/11 ... imagine what'd happen now.

It was probably easier travelling with the heavy metal band. LOLAh, the whole car searches, that was fun.
