Lean to rafter on top of Trusses

On the right side of the lean to where it is connecting to the new home addition we are working towards creating a valley for watershed.
The way we are looking to do it is to continue running the rafters parallel/angled slightly to the lean to on top of the trusses up until it reaches to the point of the existing home and new addition roof line. Is this okay to run the lean to rafters on top of the trusses until we reached the peak line on the existing house/new addition?

Support them with blocking between the trusses at the wall. Block down to the top plate of the wall. Then they will not bear on the roof but will cantilever back from the wall.
