This thread might be better for the Woodworking site but, I am going to be replacing an inadequate table saw with a better one, though I haven’t decided how much better. My question is, which do you prefer, left tilt or right tilt and why? Mine is a left tilt and never used a right tilting arbor saw.

its been discussed quite heavily in all forums. I think the general concensus is buy what youre comfortable with.
both are safe if you have your saw set-up right and well tuned.
I lean to left, because its what im used to cutting on.
*On a left tilt saw the "outside" of a mitered rip will be up thus reducing tear out.How many times is the short side of a ripped angle the "good" side? Almost never.JMHOMr T
