Lennox Speed Slot Hole Saws: Anyone tried them?

I’m looking to buy a new set of hole saws, (mine grew legs), and am intrigued by the Lennox ones with the “speed slot”.
The stepped slot idea seems like a good solution to a real problem.
Has anyone tried them? Does the stepped slot make it easier to get plugs out of the bit?

I have a couple-got them free/on coupon when they first came out. I think they are easier.
Another holesaw kit to consider.
I have not tried the new lenox holesaws yet but about a year ago I bought a set of Starrett TCT (Carbide Tipped) hole saws and I don't see myself getting anything else in the future. They are super quick, don't burn and leave a great finish. These also have a long slot down the side which makes getting plugs out a lot easier. The one downfall is the price.
I had a Blu-Mol kit before those that were well made but dulled quickly.
