I am enclosing a 24 by 12’6″ Porch. Floor is concrete and sloped about 3″ in 24 feet and 1 -1/2 inchs in 12′ the other way. What would be the best way to level this while losing as little head room as possible. Will any of the leveling products do this? What about do it yourself products? I’m out in the boonies and travel will be a big factor if I have to hire it.

What is your floor finish. Cut wedges.
Floor finish will be ceramic tile. I have thought about using tapered insulation like on flat roofs. Do you have any tricks for tapering polyiso. Does a hot wire work like on polystyrene?
Most concrete levelers will do the job and they have easy to follow directions.
Do a search at Mapei for specs on these products and pick the one that will suit you best.
You could also cap it with concrete if you can get it delivered without much fuss or penalties. Normally, you pay extra for small loads. If this option is open to you, use a bonding agent first and follow directions, form the outside, to a level that will give you at least 1 1/2 inches of concrete at the highest point, order pea stone mix with fibre @ 3500 strenght.

Thanks, I have looked at several levelers, wanted opinions. I wanted to avoid the 1-1/2 at highest point with concrete to avoid lowering the ceiling to much. Have you had any experience with the levelers at minimum thickness. I don't think stresses will be very concentrated under the warm board and the insulation. Also the levelers are much more expensive than concrete, figure I need close to two yards. Wonder if I could use a leveler to where the overlay was 1-1/2 inch then conrete.
Levelers can be from 0" to 2" so you won't be adding to the highest existing point on your deck. I don't think that you would need anywhere near yards of leveler.
And yes you can use leveler to one thickness and then switch over to pea stone concrete.

Thanks! Knew I would get good advise from this forum.
