I am planning to get my brother for Christmas one of those keypads to open a garage door opener from the outside. I looked through his window last night and saw the name Liftmaster written on the opener unit. Is that a brand name or model name? I have never heard of it before. I believe I need to get a keypad that works with that brand.

I did a quick AltaVista search and found several sites featuring Liftmaster openers. You may need the model number, however.
