Saw the Little Giant ladder at a home show recently. Any comments? Is it really verstile as it seems? Thanks

There are other threads on this. I've been very happy with mine. The only negatives IMHO are the weight (very heavy), and the leg leveler is a PITA to install.
Smile. It could be worse. You could be me working for you.
Here's a couple of threads about 'em:

You are proof that God has a sense of humor.
Here in southern Calif. Home Depot and Costco have them real cheap. Costco's 17' one goes for $129. HD's go for $99 for the 13', $179 for the 17'. These are exact design of Little Giant. HD has the Gorilla name and Costco is called "Costco". I hear that Little Giant's is suing HD for patents rights violation. Check web sites and the real one is twice the price.
The "buttons" on these new ones are a lot easier than on my 10 year old "real one". The "Little Giant" is the best around!!! If its too heavy for you, your not "Man or Woman Enough" There is no better ladder around. I have stood at the very top of the top rungs in its "A" configuration. I have singly handed place the bottom on top of a 6' block wall AND extend it to the roof of my 2nd story house (Don't try this at home). 17' fit in the back of my old Japanese mini van with all the seat up. Extended it is less springy than all others.
I love mine! I agree that it is quite heavy, but you get a lot of versatility for that weight.
I have the real 26' Little Giant, which is excellent as far as it goes. Unfortunately, I often need to go more than 26', for which I use a 32' Louisville. The LG is extremely stiff and stable, which makes it more comfortable to use, especially if you're afraid of heights like I am. Trade shows are the only place to buy them, you get the discounts that way.
Think twice before going for one of the HD/Costco fakes. IIRC, they're made in China where the quality control on metallurgy is inadequate. I've had too many metal things from there snap in half to trust a ladder they make.
