Making some last minute preparations for the brick mason who is scheduled to begin work later this week. My problem is the location of the dryer vent. I want to locate it about six feet from where the condensor unit for the split system heat pump will be located. Do you think there’s a chance that the exhausted lint from the dryer vent might get sucked into the condensor coils? If so, is there a way I can prevent that from happening without relocating either the vent or the condensing unit?
New knowledge is priceless.
Used knowledge is even more valuable.

You cant locate your dryer vent anywhere near the outside coil because it will suck lint into it. Mine is located right beside and I have to clean it out constantly. You want the dryer vent 6' away vertically or linearly? I have started to use a pantyhose filter on mine, works great- looks funny
you want the shortest most direct path for your dryer vent... ALL Metal pipe.... 6ft isn't bad... lint should be in your dryer filter not coming out vent... besides you should clean your coil every year anyway
