I have another question related to my kitchen remodel. I am moving my built-in ovens to a new location and would like to know the proper location for the box to connect the pigtail to the circuit coming out of the wall. The ovens are stacked vertically in a single cabinet. Can the junction box be located in the inaccessible area directly behind the ovens or must it be located in an accessible area behind a cabinet or drawer? Thanks for any advice.

The code book says junction boxs must be in accessible locations! Sometimes accessible has different interpitations, we generally hide them behind cabinet drawers or inside a case where they are hidden from view but easy to work on.

Thanks, I figured that was the case. How do you suggest I mount the box. to the drywall behind the cabinet or to the back of the cabinet? If I mount it to the drywall, with a backer board, it seems like it will be a little clumsy to get the pigtail into the side of the box since the back of the cabinet sits out from the wall about a half an inch. But that would provide a more rigid mount.
