(Is it OK for a homeowner to look for professionals in here? I hope so!)

Are there any carpenters in MN that would be interested in reframing/rebuilding some window casings on our ’29 stucco house? What was originally rotted trim is now a bigger problem with some rotted sills and framing. The replacement windows are fine, it’s just the framing for those windows that need to be replaced.

I’ve called 3 carpenters listed on Angie’s list (which, BTW, is a pretty lame service, IMHO) and didn’t receive a single call-back. Maybe the jobs too small. Maybe everyone’s too busy. I’d guess the latter is true.

I was going to have a remodeling company a friend of mine works at tackle the job, but the owner has pushed the job back a few times, and I question if it will get started at all before winter.

So, anyways, if you are intersted, I’d love to give you some more info…
