I'm wondering the same thing--we have an OLD fuel oil monstrosity that will no doubt give up the ghost sometime in the next couple of years.
Would like to have something affordable (gas is not dependable these days, I know.)
Singing Die Zauberflöte in English is like eating at the Olive Garden.
There is a company that is based out of Cleveland, Ohio, but they have retail stores along the East Coast that sell directly to contractors only...the name of this chain is Famous Supply.....it used to be referred to as Famous Furnace Supply.
Anyway, they stock several brands...including York and Armstong among others. A 90% efficeint York (Affinity Series) can be had for around $1000. It is very dependable. I have one heating my garage workshop, another York heats my 2 story house...very quiet, very dependable, and it sips natural gas instead of drinking large copius amounts!
Another brand store that caters furnaces is Crawford Supply....they too are a chain, but not sure how extensive.

Thanks for the reply. I ended up having to use a heating contractor in town. I was originally hoping to pick up my own furnace. Being a young g.c. my self I know a small hand full of young tinwhackers and gas fitters. They know exactly what they are doing, the don't however have a liscense # to operate under. So I ended up paying 2200 bucks CAN. Instead of maybee 1200 like I was hoping. It burns my butt a little but it's kind of outside of my hands.
