   I do not know if is cool to recommend any one specific contractor here but if it was I would say I know of a great company in MA known as something like "Colonial Restorations" you might find them in brookfield MA area and or could google that name. Or look it up in the brookfield MA directory and ask for Tom again not mentioning any names. That is I would if it was OK to recommend any specific company not that I would do anything like that here.

   Try Antique Homes Magazine at http://www.antiquehomesmagazine.com, there is a section with services/contractors who work on older homes..
