You don't have to sacrifice historical elements of a house in the name of energy efficiency.

That... is a 'wet dream' of a workshop!
Your uncle must have been a toolmaker - it's a collection of custom tools/machines that most folks would have a hard time learning how to use.
Too bad you couldn't just move it out intact to a person of equal skills without disturbing a thing.
I'm salivating over what's there, and I'm sorry I can't offer a valuable suggestion as to how to pass it on to someone who could really put it to good use.
Craigs list and Ebay come to mind.
You will want to understand your own priorities here, and the tradeoff of time and energy you put into the sale vs any money you will end up with. Or will the process let you talk about your uncle and have non cash returns for your efforts?
If some of the equipment has identifiable sources, it might pay to part it out vs a full sale.
Facebook has a couple woodworking equipment for sale groups that might be worth looking into.
Thanks for the notes, it was an amazing workshop, he was a master craftsman.
We found good homes for most big items, the lathe is still looking for an forever-home.
Thank you
It was an amazing workshop.
